Beautygloss remake!

Hi there!
My fellow Dutchies may know BeautyGloss, which is a Dutch beautyblog. A while ago, Mascha, the website's owner, got her nails done by Maybelline.

I decided I'd try to make them myself, on my own nails :D! I didn't use the Maybelline colours, but just a few other ones I found in my stash. The green, pink, and blue (pinky finger) are from Miss Sporty, the green/blue on the ring finger is Miss Minty from Gosh, the black is from Jessica, the white from Essie, and the pink on my thumb from some unknown brand I found (bottle without sticker or anything xD). I mostly used a thin brush, like the lady from Maybelline.

A beautiful peach

I finally have my first Barry M polish! It's Peach Melba... and it's beautiful. I love the formula, colour, finish and everything! I added some other colours and stripes to this manicure :).

Stripes and stones

Hi there!

This time I made a simples striped manicure. I used my purple Essence liner polish and the silver polish from my polish pens.

When everything was almost dry, I applied the rhinestones. I pushed them down the polish a bit, in that way they were sealed in a bit. Then I applied two layers of top coat, and the stones were really sealed onto my nail :).

I hope you enjoyed it!

Bye!

Itsy Bitsy Spider!

I'm sorry for the bad lighting in this picture... But as you can see, I have a spider web on my nail :)! In it is a spider, but you can't see that very well.

I polished my nails with a beautiful vampy red Essence polish (which I own for a long time now) called Late At Night.

Enjoy your weekend! :)

Bye!

Hurry, let that polish dry!

Here's a thing I use a lot. It's Essence's Nail Art Express Dry Drops. It's just a liquid which makes your polish dry pretty fast... And for some reason, it moisturises your cuticles. The only disadvantage is that I have to wait a bit longer to take pictures, because EVERYTHING around my nail looks super shiny...

You can polish right over it, too. It's great if you want your pretty nail art to dry so you can put on a top coat without smudging the art. I love this product! :)

Let's play!

Credits to The Nailasaurus! I wanted to make them too since I first saw them :).

Yes - (my boyfriend and) I have a Playstation 3! I usually play Assassin's Creed (finished II, atm I'm playing the first one and Brotherhood), Raymann Origins, or Gran Turismo.

I wanted to do something Playstation related, because AC3 is out next week. I decided I'd paint the controller buttons on my nails, because I already had black on them. Maybe I'll make some AC nails next week :)!

Do you play videogames? Which ones do you like? Let me know in the comments :D!

Bye!

Basic black matte

I've cut my nails today, so I decided to go for a darker colour. (I don't like to wear those when my nails are longer, it tends to look more vampy that way...) Obviously, black is the darkest colour I could find.

Dripping French

You all know the basic, white tipped French manicure. Here's a variation! I added some 'drips' to it. You can make this manicure with some red polish too, for a nice, bloody effect.

Bye!

Peach stamping

I have a peach coloured dress, which I'll be wearing tomorrow... so I decided to make some nails to go with it :). Unfortunately my matte top coat left a white stripe on my thumb...

No cracks...

Originally I wanted to make happy coloured nails with a black crackle nail polish on top. It took me a while to get to the manicure shown above... Here's what happened! :)

Lots of polishes

So... here are all the polishes I used for the next manicure. It might be a bit of a chaos, but I was a bit bored and this mani was lots of fun to make! :)

Everyday I'm marblin'

Except not really. I'm just quite bad at it. I decided to give it an other try, and it happened. My water marble creation looked decent! I FINALLY DID IT :).

Yellow or green?

I still don't know if this is a yellow or green polish. I have to admit, it looks green in the picture, but now I'm wearing it and it looks pretty yellow to me...

Essence's crackle

(I'm sorry about the pictures, I took them with my phone...)

Here's a quick post about Essence's black crackle nail polish! This is because I read on a forum that people didn't like it, because it was too thick or to sticky. You also have a dark metallic blue, and apparently a white one too (although I've only seen -and own- the blue one.)

I used a metallic green (which has quite a bit of yellow in it) as the base colour. I think it was a Gosh polish, but it could've been a Catrice. I haven't got the bottle near me, but I'll update if I know!

note: you have to use a base coat with these kind of colours, since you wouldn't want yellow or green nails!

I applied one thin coat of the black crackle, and a Rimmell top coat. This is the result. :)

What do you think about crackle nail polish?

Konad nail stamping!

A while ago I bought a Konad nail stamping plate, stamp, and a scraper... And this is my best result so far! :)

Let's play dominoes!

I saw this design earlier on the internet, so I tried it myself a couple of years ago. I liked it and still wear it sometimes!

Apple nails

You might be interested in this or not, but I have a MacBook. Obviously, this design was inspired by Apple :).

I just used a base coat, a white polish, a grey polish, and a matte topcoat. I painted the Apple logo with a small, simple brush. (No 'real' nailpolish brush, though.)
